This iconic album, produced by Lou Adler and released in 1971 has influenced popular music and singer-songwriters since it’s release. It is one of the best-selling albums of all time, with over 25 million copies sold worldwide, and has received four Grammy Awards in 1972, including Album of the Year. As recently as 2003, Tapestry was ranked number 36 on Rolling Stone list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, showing how influential it has been may years after its release.
