“Nobody wants to leave” Chris Rodgers
“Harmonies that leave you breathless” Bill Kenny
“Sensational” John Sackett

Join us at this lovely venue for a fun evening of music and chat. We loved our last show at The Station Theatre and are thrilled to be back!

DiElle’s interactive acoustic show with John Gleadall and Chris Wood is an honest celebration of acoustic music. Indulging in classic songs through the ages, the show includes music from timeless songwriters such as Bob Dylan, The Hollies, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Carole King, and the next generation of artists they have influenced, such as Crowded House, Snow Patrol and the DiElle trio themselves.

The three musicians met after each having a varied career of many years, taking them from stadium tours, to Hollywood to London’s West End with various projects. John, Chris and DiElle enjoy performing at music festivals, arts centres, theatres, and local TV and radio, and occasional international tours.

The group, having been described as having “sensational harmonies” by events executive John Sackett, pride themselves on close harmony singing, and traditional acoustic guitar sound.

This upbeat, fun trio is not to be missed – a show for real music lovers.

What a fabulous evening, good music doesn’t get much better than this! I’ve never heard this magical trip play together and nI was blown away with their harmonies, musicianship and sheer good humour. Maybe it’s just me, but when musicians are enjoying themselves, the music is so much better and these guys were clearly enjoying themselves.

The evening featured Two wonderful sets of acoustic music that brought back memories and had me singing along on several occasions.

They included beautiful covers of classics by The Hollies (He Ain’t Heavy), James Taylor (You’ve got a friend), Graham Nash (Our House), The Beatles (Come Together), Carol King (Up on the Roof), Joni Mitchel (Big Yellow Taxi) and Bob Dylan (20 minute medley). Plus a selection of beautiful self penned songs from Dielle and John. All backed up with a sensitive baseline and vocals provided the inimitable Chris Wood.

I can’t recommend these talented musicians enough. Go see them, you won’t be disappointed.
