Live at Hanger Farm with the trio!

Acoustic goodness all round!

“Sensational harmonies”

DiElle’s acoustic show with John Gleadall and Chris Wood is an honest celebration of the joys of acoustic music. Indulging in acoustic hit songs through the ages, the show includes songs from classic songwriters such as the Eagles, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Carole King, The Beatles and The Hollies, and the next generation of artists they have influenced such as Crowded House and Snow Patrol.

The three musicians met after each having a varied career of many years, taking them from stadium tours, to Hollywood to London’s West End with various projects. John, Chris and DiElle met on the local music scene in Hampshire, and enjoy playing music festivals, arts centres, theatres, and local TV and radio, as well as playing further afield, enjoying a tour to Switzerland last year.

With a deep love of the craft of song, the artists also feature a section on Bob Dylan, celebrating the wealth of music he has created in his time. John Gleadall is nothing short of a local legend, having a long and varied career, including playing with The Crooners for 30 years. John is currently co-writing musicals with poet and playwright Greg Mosse. Having been Billy Ocean’s Musical Director at the age of 19, bassist Chris Wood, son of jazz trumpeter Vic Wood, has versatile and exquisite musicianship with an ear for detail. Singer-songwriter DiElle has been described as having “a voice that could bring a tear to the eye of even the most stone hearted souls”, and is currently composing for Hollywood film companies.

The group have been described as having “Sensational harmonies” by events executive John Sackett, and pride themselves on close harmony singing, and traditional acoustic guitar sound.

This upbeat, fun trio is not to be missed if you love good songs and acoustic music.
