I first discovered Joni Mitchell in my parents’ record collection.. ‘Ladies Of The Canyon’ appealed to my youthful and adventurous sense of hippy rebellion – the cover was just so intriguing..

This song is possibly one of Joni’s most well known tracks. Some have said that, given the amazing songs she has written, this is overly simple and doesn’t really reflect her real artistry. I think it’s a great track and I love playing it – anything that introduces people to an amazing influential artist like Joni Mitchell has got to be a good thing.
