Hi there,Â
I hope you’re hanging in there 💗.Â
As much as I can, I try to spread positivity and joy, through my work and my social media. My music, groups I run, podcast and radio shows are my effort to enhance quality of life, raise a smile, and when needed a bit of a distraction and escapism.Â
However there’s been a little blip…Â
As if life hasn’t been hard enough for musicians of late, Facebook has been targeting musicians accounts and disabling them for various reasons. I’ve had intermittent issues getting on Facebook and can’t rely on it anymore to stay in touch with people, so instead thought I’d try to bring you a smile via email instead.Â
I hope you enjoy my general witterings and you are keeping well. Do reply if you’d like, I’d love to hear from you.Â
Stay safeÂ

Bands Quiz
I love things like this and have had a great time working out all the bands with my Twitter/Instagram/Facebook pals.Â
I hope you have fun with it! If you want to share your answers with me I’d love to see them – you can play the game and post them here on the blog  🙂Â

Radio Shows
Its been great to have my 2 radio shows during this time where we can’t do any gigs. I’ve also been doing a Wednesday night singalong which is great fun, just getting together online and having a laugh with some music turned up loud.Â
Valentine’s Day Radio Show
I’m planning a special Valentine’s Day radio show this year as it falls on a Sunday. If you’d like to dedicate a song to your sweetheart and send a Valentine’s message you can do that and I will
gladly play them for you. If you’d like to record a valentine’s message yourself to go with your song choice, I will happily play them. Listen again links are also available after the show.
If you’d like to take part, please email your voice note and song choice to lovemondayspodcast@gmail.com
What’s news with you?
If you want to chat, I’d love to hear your news.
You can post on the blog if you’d like to chat. I’ll start if you like to het the conversation going.
So.. in my personal life – my husband and I bought a shepherds hut in a sale during the first lockdown. The idea was that it would give us somewhere to enjoy the garden during a lockdown summer. What I didn’t realise was that we had to build it ourselves (!) the skills for which we really do not have 😂. It wasn’t even flat packed, it was literally in a thousand bits. It’s now months and months later, summer has gone, and we’re up to floor height – haha. The floor itself was 54 identical bits of wood (no nails in the pack, or tools, or explanation/instructions) but one piece was 4ml thinner than the other 53. We never found that bit 😬 I hope you’re laughing because we’ve had to, it’s so ridiculous. Err, what else… my nan of 98yrs had her first vaccine which is a big relief for the whole family. We know there’s a way to go yet, but it’s good to know the ball is rolling. My song Stolen Land had some good radio play this week which is always very exciting. I co-wrote this with Chelsey Coy so I’m really pleased it’s been well received as it’s the first thing we’ve done together.
Anyway, that’s enough about me. What’s news with you?
Tell me your news here if you feel like chatting.
