Musical Advent 13 – The First Noel

13. The First Noel – Frank Sinatra

Again, something I used to sing a lot as a child. In my village a small group of singers would gather over the Christmas period and sing carols in the square. I remember doing this as a very young singer and feeling the lovely Christmas spirit in this lovely song. I was especially fond of the descant.

This Frank Sinatra version is lovely.
