I have been keeping this a secret for what seems like forever.
Around last October, I got a tweet from a nice chap called Terry, introducing me to another nice lady called Sarita. He said something along the lines of liking my music and she should check me out, which is always lovely to hear (thanks Terry).
Sarita and I exchanged a few private messages where she told me she was looking for music for a film her production company was making. This was über cool and I asked what she was looking for specifically – she mentioned something moody with strings, so I send her a link to ‘No One To Thank Or Blame’, the opening track from my 2014 studio album ‘Fearless’.
She loved it, and asked if they could use it in the film. Of course I agreed and was thrilled, as always, to have my music appreciated. I thought that would be it, and asked her a little more about the movie. One thing lead to another and Sarita told me that she was looking for a songwriter to write the whole score, and whether I was up for doing it (amongst other questions!). Wow. I obviously agreed, signed a non disclosure agreement, and have been keeping it a secret EVER SINCE! So if you’ve been wondering why I’ve been so quiet, that’s why! Our involvement was announced on Friday 25th March.
Ladies and Gentlemen… Unicorn ‘N’ Cobra Films is excited to announce another addition to The Girl in a Coma……
Posted by The Girl In A Coma on Friday, March 25, 2016
I have enlisted the help of Chris Wood (@ChrisWoodBass) and have been enjoying composing themes and writing songs inspired by the script. There are still loads of juicy details I can’t talk about yet, but here’s what I can tell you.
A Supernatural Thriller..
It’s a supernatural thriller called ‘The Girl In A Coma’, produced by Unicorn ‘N’ Cobra Films, and is being filmed in LA.
The cast includes LeJon (Pirates Of The Carribean – one of my favourites),
Oselito Joseph (Gilgamesh, Scroog In The Hood), T.W. Reed (Echoes In An Empty Apartment, Memoir), Lester Speight (Transformers, Norbit), Dawna Lee Heising (Circus of Dread, The Final Chance), Noah Hathaway (Battlestar Galactica, The Neverending Story, Sushi Girl), Latiera Harmon and Andrew Picou. Cameo roles include the writer Andy Travis, Sarita Callender the producer and the Official Soundtrack Composer DiElle! That’s right, we’re in it too, playing ourselves. It’s a truly unique opportunity.
I can’t wait to bring you more news – as soon as I have updates, I will let you know!
In the meantime, please support the film by following updates on Twitter and Facebook, and sharing with your friends.

Thanks, as always, to my friends, fans and supporters all around the world. You make things like this happen.
