So today I had a quick jaunt up to the smoke again for a video shoot – this is a short promo for my 2015 single Shelter From The Storm. I decided to go on the train when it was first booked in, which was before the horrible bombing in Brussels. It’s the first time I felt a bit apprehensive going on the tube gate an attack like that, but I have to admit, I did feel a bit nervous this morning. The train and tube were both deserted, which was kinda spooky too. I thought a lot about the people of Brussels and Paris, and fervently hope that a humane and sensible way forward can be found.
Still, it was an uneventful journey otherwise and I arrived at the video studio 40mins early. I sat on the roof with my guitar overlooking that part of London for a bit, until someone arrived to unlock the studio.
I was sent to the makeup artist and given the treatment, quick change and we were off. The shoot was quick and went smoothly. It was great fun and we now just have to wait a couple of weeks until the edit is ready 🙂 Here are a couple of pics from behind the scenes at the studio.
The tube and train was a bit busier on the way back, which was nice to see. Love and peace to mankind ❤️🕊
