Hi there!

You may have seen lots of tweets about the film scores I am working on at the moment. As ever I want to thank you for your support of my music! Here’s a bit more background about the film, and how I’m working on it at the moment.

It has been a baptism of fire for me, learning about the movie industry, and I have discovered that huge amounts of work go on constantly behind the scenes. Where it can appear that not much is going on, we are actually furiously beavering away under the surface!

I am thrilled to tell you that my first ever single written exclusively for a film is now available on CD.
This is a supernatural thriller called The Girl In A Coma.

“The girl in a coma reaches out beyond the realms of understanding to tell her story of how she ended up in the ER unresponsive and broken” is the synopsis for this film. I have tried to set the scene with the music I have composed so far.
I have been thrilled to work on this project, as I have discovered that writing movie music is liberating. There is so much scope artistically and I am loving every minute!

On this exclusive CD I have included the main theme music ‘Tragic Angel’, single for radio ‘I’m Still Here’ and my extended version of the artistic, 9 minute, combination of these two songs which will form part of the movie soundtrack album. Tragic Angel is the music used for the first teaser, which you can see here if you haven’t already.

One of the actors in this film is Lejon O. Stewart (Pirates Of The Caribbean), who recently listened to this music in a meeting with our producer Sarita Callendar. He said it gave him chills, as tears poured down his face. I was both shocked and honoured to hear an actor of this calibre talk about my music like this, having acted in films scored by Hans Zimmer! I hope you will enjoy it as much as he did.

Excitingly, this is no longer the only film score I am working on. This project has grown into a fantastic relationship between myself and my UK team, Unicorn ‘N’ Cobra Films and other film makers in the US. We recently sent theme music for a picture entitled ‘Stolen Breath’ produced by Mark Ridley, another actor from The Girl In A Coma’s cast. Stolen Breath is currently in post-production and we do not know exactly at this time how DiElle music will be used in the picture. As soon as we have updates on this, you’ll be the first to know!

We’re also working on the ‘Wounded Warrior’ series – a suite of films in the action/martial arts genre, a drama called ‘My Name Is Linda’, and a wartime drama comedy.

If you would like to support us, you can retweet
anything with #uncmovies which will be much appreciated. You can also apply to be part of the digital street team – let me know if your interested.

If you would like signed copies of any of my CDs, please contact me for details – I am including signed photographs, car stickers and press clippings of my reviews with any CDs ordered from me at the moment. I have a limited number of the ‘I’m Still Here’ single I can sign and send out.

I hope you have found this update interesting, you can always stop by the blog and drop me a note. I always like to hear from you!
