Equidistant, plinth, envelope
If you spend much time on social media with me you may have noticed I just love words.
When I was at university we had ‘fridge poetry’ which were fridge magnets like the picture above, and we made poems for each other.
When I was at school, I spent about a week asking all my friends and, anyone who would listen, what their favourite words were, and I made a list of them. (One of my language teachers, a polyglot, disappointingly said ‘vomit’. Then when I pressed him on it ‘undulate’ which was better IMHO). I made them all into a poem which I still have somewhere in my childhood bedroom. I must see if I can dig it out…
I would like to do this again with you. I would like you to tell me – tweet, Facebook, email, comment on this blog post, what your favourite words are, so I can weave them into a song.
Up for it? So tell me.. what are your favourite words?
They don’t have to be clever, you just have to like it
I look forward to hearing what you like!
